Asheville Christian Academy exists as a corporation to provide outstanding academic instruction that effectively prepares students for their roles in the home, the church, the state, and their vocations or professions in a manner that glorifies God. We are a non-profit corporation designed to provide Christian education for Christian families in Western North Carolina who desire faith-based instruction for their children. We welcome students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin.

Current parents, staff, grandparents and great-grandparents as well as alumni, alumni parents, former staff, former board members, and a limited number of donors are eligible for Corporation membership. The Corporation as a body elects the Board of Directors from the Corporation membership and votes on major school decisions. The Corporation meets at least twice yearly on the second Monday in October and the second Monday in May.

The Board of Directors are the trustees, and as such, they preserve and protect the mission of Asheville Christian Academy and also direct the school's strategic plan.
