Spring

• Visit to Montreat Park to enhance the frog unit
• “Keys for Kids” Chapel: We prepare and perform a chapel of skits that teach all of us how Jesus wants us to respond to certain situations.
• Geography Day
• Puppet Plays: We attend puppet plays produced by the Middle School Drama Class
• Parent-Pick Poetry Performance: Each parent picks a special poem for his or her child to perform for the class.
• Famous American Day and Projects: Each student becomes a famous American for the day and shares his or her story with children in the other classes.

Second Grade Service Projects

• Collect coats for Western Carolina Rescue Ministries
• Al Jones Prison Ministry – Christmas toy collection for local prisoners’ children
• ACSI Student Support – Support students in several different countries to go to Christian Schools
