  • Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education field trip
  • Country in a Suitcase: Students prepare a report about a country by filling a suitcase with items and information from that country.
  • Native American craft afternoon
  • Names of Jesus Banner Chapel: A chapel presented by the third grade students that worshipfully acknowledges the names and attributes of Jesus Christ.
  • Narnia Day: During this very special day each child is presented with a character trait that exemplifies them.
  • Math Olympics

Third Grade Service Projects

  • Al Jones Prison Ministry – Christmas toy collection for local prisoners’ children
  • ACSI Student Support – Support students in several different countries to go to Christian Schools
  • Food and cards for ABCCM Homeless Shelter
  • Partnering with Kindergarten to make turkey baskets for Western Carolina Rescue Ministries
  • Exam goodie bags and letters of encouragement for 9th grade prayer partners
