Our Middle School is a community of sixth through eighth grade students who are in transition from childhood to adolescence. The program continues to offer daily learning from the Bible and the other core subjects from a distinctly biblical perspective. During these formative years, importance is given to the growth and maturity of the whole child. Therefore, several areas are provided special emphasis--developing study skills, personal responsibility, moral integrity; exploring co-curricular interests; expanding reading, writing and thinking skills; and providing a robust social environment in which to flourish in mind, body and spirit.
The key to a vibrant and positive middle school is a highly trained, effective, and dedicated faculty. The ACA faculty is committed to making a difference in students’ whole lives and recognizes the distinctive qualities and needs of the middle school student. Our teachers understand intellectual development from concrete operations to abstract thinking and are aware of the growing spiritual and social needs of students. They realize that each student needs an environment that offers affirmation, correction, encouragement and stimulation--all which encourage the pursuit of excellence. Our faculty love Jesus and care deeply about middle school students. They are committed to partnering with parents in order to create a nurturing community where students thrive.
