Asheville Christian Academy welcomes international students from around the world. Currently, we have students from China, Denmark, Guatemala, and Korea. Asheville Christian Academy was founded in 1958 and is one the oldest and most respected private Christian schools in Western North Carolina. Home-stay Program
One of the unique features of Asheville Christian Academy boarding is the home stay program. Instead of an impersonal dorm setting, we believe international students living with American families constantly provides a much better learning environment and provides more focused social and emotional support. Host families are chosen after background checks, reference checks, and personal interviews. Orientation and ongoing support is provided to host families as well.

We welcome you to explore our entire site as you consider Asheville Christian Academy for your future studies. Applications for students entering grades 9 through 11 will be accepted through June 1 for the following school year. Tuition and fees for foreign students are listed in this document. Asheville Christian Academy international students enjoy full submersion in American culture and language by living full-time with a host family

: Students participate in drama, music, and fine arts classes and after school programing.

Asheville Christian Academy offers eight AP (advanced placement) courses and graduates of Asheville Christian Academy have gone on to a number of prestigious universities including: Carnegie Mellon, Duke, Harvard, MIT, UNC Chapel Hill, Villanova, and Xavier.
