The Board of Asheville Christian Academy is committed to making ACA as financially accessible as possible to any Christian family desiring a Christ-centered liberal arts education for their children. All financial assistance given by ACA is need-based. At this time approximately 45% of our families receive assistance. An average award is 35%.
Families desiring need-based assistance are encouraged to apply through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment and should plan to apply online or request an application after February 1. Awards are given only after a family has been accepted; therefore, new families desiring tuition assistance are strongly urged to submit applications for admission by March to allow for sufficient time to complete the admissions process.
All financial information submitted is confidential and will only be shared with the Tuition Assistance Committee as they consider tuition assistance requests. Applications for tuition assistance, along with current information, must be submitted each year for which tuition assistance is requested. It is imperative that interested parties apply by the April 1, priority deadline. Families will be notified of tuition assistance awards beginning May 1. Requests received after April 1 will be awarded according to available funds.
Re-enrolling families receive priority consideration through May 1, after which all tuition assistance applications shall be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
For more information regarding tuition assistance, please contact Paula Paquette in our Business Office at 828-581-2211.
ACA admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration or its education policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs and athletic and other school-administered programs.
