The ACA campus is a beautiful 53 acres of which a generous portion is dedicated to athletic facilities. Surrounded by mountains and a wonderful climate, the setting for outdoor sports could not be better. Two Bermuda pitch soccer fields are featured along with a first-class baseball field. A new practice baseball field is being developed for the fall of 2012.

A brand new field house has been completed that features concessions, restrooms and public address capabilities for baseball, soccer and cross country.

One of Western North Carolina’s best cross country courses loops around the 53 acre campus featuring small hills, the Swannanoa River and wooded areas.

The ACA indoor athletic facility features a gymnasium with three full courts for volleyball and basketball. Multiple events can take place at the same time thanks to dividers that drop into place between courts. The strength and conditioning room is adjacent to the gymnasium. Other athletic amenities include coach’s offices and a new team meeting and video room.

Future plans are in motion to develop a full track and field facility surrounding a multipurpose synthetic field and stadium for soccer, track and field and eventually football. Additional practice fields will accompany this project.
